Join us for a sweat-and-sculpt kickoff to our movement series for system change with a mat pilates class built to get your heart rate up and your civic literacy even higher. Each time you show up to the mat with Got Body?, you also show up to fight for a woman in the South in need of care.
Proceeds from this event will benefit our community organizing fellowship in Georgia, led by GA State Representative Park Cannon. These intimate gatherings are designed to promote system change through intentional movement and community building. The privilege to move through the world and make decisions about your body without interference is a right women in CA have, while many women in the South have lost. Our Organizing Fellows in Georgia are providing care and civic education to women navigating restrictions on healthcare and voting access, educating them on the importance of local elections.

Why Georgia:
Georgia has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the country, and Black women there die from pregnancy-related causes at more than twice the rate of white women.
Since 2022, Georgia's LIFE Act has banned most abortions at six weeks, before many people even know they're pregnant.
A 2021 state law added new restrictions on absentee voting, ballot drop boxes, and in-line voter access.
